Entry Level FF TRAINING - FIRE GROUND SUPPORT

Lebanon County Fire School

April 14, 2007

Along with members of several other departments, nine members of the Keystone Fire Company continued their fire ground support class today at the Lebanon County Fire Training Site.  Today was the last segment of a 48-hour program, which is the 2nd in a series of 4 classes that trains new fire fighters in basic fire fighting skills.  Crews spent the dates working with hose management, hose loading, hydrant operations, and master stream skills.  Plans are being made to begin the 3rd segment (42 hours in length) for later this year.

Several other members of the company went to the training site to participate in some company-level rope rescue training.  These members also prepared and served lunch to all students and instructors present.
